Character Meals at Magic
Kingdom.–
Young children, and even older
ones, love this park and if the family want to go for a
family meal and meet the characters there is a choice of
three venues.
Crystal Palace – if you go down Main Street, USA and turn
left at Casey's Corner you will find Crystal Palace. This
restaurant now serves three meals per day and here you can
meet Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.
The meals are all served buffet-style with a separate buffet
for kids called "Pooh Corner."
If you are up and out early and likely to be hungry choose
the breakfast meal. There is a good selection of food with
items such as eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, breads, fruit
and much more.
Lunch offers a variety of hot and cold entrees and sides
along with a dessert bar whilst at dinner they add carved
meats and peel-and-eat shrimp to the lunch time menu.
Prices at time of writing are Breakfast
Adults-$18.99/Children-$10.99; Lunch A-$20.99/C-$11.99;
Dinner A-$27.99/C-$12.99 (children ages 3-9) I would
strongly recommend you make an advance reservation here.
You will find Cinderella’s Royal Table located on the second
floor of Cinderella’s Castle.
When we went breakfast and lunch were Disney Princess-themed
character meals. When we arrived at Cinderella’s Castle for
our reservation, a photographer took pictures of our group
in the lobby, before we were seated in the dining room. We
purchased a package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print
of our photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle,
in a Cinderella photo holder for about $30. These were
delivered to us at our table during your meal.
Breakfast: approx $33 for Adults and$23 for children..
Lunch: approx $35 Adults and $25 children
Dinner is a fixed-price, set meal hosted by the Fairy
Godmother, who will also lead special occasions like
birthdays and anniversaries. Again there is a photographer
and you can buy the photographs.
Dinner is approx $40and $25 for children.
We have not been for Dinner so cannot comment on its value
for money but we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and lunch
and would recommend them.
Be prepared that payment in full with a credit card will be
required at the time of booking for all meals at
Cinderella's Royal Table. If you do not have a credit card,
the reservation cannot be made. Advance booking is a must
for this venue.
Liberty Tree Tavern. This restaurant in Liberty Square has a
family-style dinner with several characters (Minnie, Goofy,
Pluto and friends). Dinner includes ham, turkey, flank
steak, vegetables, salads and more. Children also receive a
serving of macaroni and cheese. Dinner Adults approx $28
children appox $13. The Tavern also serves lunch but you
will not see any characters at this meal.
Whichever meal you choose I am sure the children (and of
course your selves) will enjoy it.
