There are two main living areas, the lounge is equipped with 65" widescreen tv with Cable, DVD/CD and stereo system. Adjacent to the Lounge is a second family room. Here, you can sit and quietly read, away from the distractions of the television, or perhaps enjoy a game of cards or a board game. Upstairs on the galleried landing is an entertainment area ideal for the children - here another large screen tv, Sony Playstation 2 plus games are provided. The Playstation doubles as a DVD or CD player.
The kitchen is fully fitted with every type of appliance (dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, stove, fridge/freezer with ice machine), and the laundry is just next door complete with full-size washer and dryer, laundry basket, plus iron and ironing board and towels for use by the pool (save the room in your suitcase!)
Off the kitchen is access to the Games Room - a pool table, dartboard and air hockey are provided.
The formal dining area seats 6, but for breakfasts and light snacks, most guests use the breakfast nook which has great views over the pool area and seats 4 with a further seating for 4 at the breakfast bar.

Two of the master bedrooms are king size suites on the first floor and have en suite bathrooms with corner bath, separate shower cubicle, twin vanity sinks and toilet. Both rooms have flatscreen tv/dvd. The ground floor master (Queen) also has tv/dvd, and an adjacent bathroom with bath, overhead shower, toilet and sink with vanity unit and built in hairdryer.

The remaining first floor bedrooms are twin rooms - one has bunk beds and Disney's movie Cars decor & shares a Jack & Jill bathroom with a second twin in Princess theme, the remaining twin room has it's own private ensuite. All three have tv/dvds.

One of the main features of the villa is the great pool with oversized pool deck and spa. The area overlooks beautiful conservation and national forest with a water view and green open space. In addition to the pool, there is a large patio area with sun loungers, plus dining tables and chairs for when you decide dine al fresco. Coloured pool lighting adds to the fun for evening swimming!
Our family size gas BBQ is on a dedicated decking area. The lanai runs the width of the patio area - approx 40' - providing essential shade when the Florida sun gets too hot. A removable child safety fence is in place for parents' peace of mind. Doors to the pooldeck/garage are also alarmed for extra precaution.

Emerald Island Resort is a modern upmarket gated community in the prime location just outside Disney. In addition to the facilities offered at the villa, there is a full size community pool and clubhouse with internet access room and business facilities, sauna, fitness room, games arcade, coffee lounge and tiki bar. Regular movie nights and other seasonal entertainment is hosted by the concierge and team.
In the grounds, surrounded by acres of national forest, a children's play area, tennis & volleyball courts, picnic area and nature trails mean you will never be short of something to do on those days you need a break from the great many attractions on the doorstep!
