Hi everyone
Sherlocks is now due to open soon at Championsgate where the French Creperie used to be round the side near McDonalds.
Let's hope it is more successful that Cagans Crossing which never had any decent pastries or cakes!!! I do love my coffee and cake so will definitely be giving it a go.

There is a post on another forum that says this Sherlocks will be a tea room/coffee house during the day but will become a wine bar/bistro in the evenings. This would be a really good addition to Champions Gate if true.

Sounds like a great addition. Championsgate could certainly do with a lot more restaurants and a wine/bistro bar would be great. Did hear that the Outback was going to build a restaurant there, but then heard nothing more about it. That is what we need for villas in this area.

There were rumours of The Outback opening but the premises are now a walk in clinic!!!! We could certainly do with some different places to eat. Maybe there will be one at the end of Championsgate Blvd on the junction at SR54. Well, we can live in hope.

Mixed reviews on another forum. Not been yet even though it is on the doorstep. Had a look in there one day but that's about it and I was not tempted. Having said that I must go and sample myself before passing judgement - trouble is I don't want to waste any $$$ so hope it is everything I hope for.
I firmly believe if you are opening new premises, you should be ready from day one, with maybe a few minor adjustments to the menu. If you have done your marketing correctly, there should only be a couple of adjustments necessary.

Apparently the owners are back in UK and having to rely on friends and staff by the sounds of it....
They will be starting breakfasts in the future which is what I would love to see at ChampionsGate. Apparently they can't 'deep fry' due to the terms of their lease, but have been offering 'fish & chips'. Work it out...

Well, it now appears there was a hand written note in the window either yesterday or the day before saying 'Closed for the day". Speaks volumes to me and can't see them being in business for long!!
